Yesterday was Easter. It brought to mind how much Christianity has borrowed from pagan and native religions. Also how pagan and native religions have survived and interwoven themselves in Christianity and modern societies, especially western society. The old religions still live and with very little research you can find them.

I’ve joined an online group discussion on witchcraft. I find it interesting how much fascination, ignorance and prejudice still exists out there and that it is pretty much world wide.

Im rewatching the sound of music. This movie is almost 60 years old. Julie Andrews had an incredible voice. Given the turmoil in our country and the shadow of fascism looming over us it seems timely. For you youngens if you like musicals I highly recommend it. Hopefully it’s not a prediction of our country.

Christian today celebrate Christmas. An adapted pagan holiday. We the witches of the world smile at this. Study the history of Christianity, the churches and you can understand the anger and hatred they have fostered throughout history and the world. Jesus would weep for what they have done and continue to do in his name.

Blogging is new to me , my thought was to record a part of my life share the things that I have learned with others and hope that they could avoid the struggles I went through.

This time of year use to send me for a spin. I grew up very poor. This time of year makes it very obvious to those that are poor, how poor you are as an empath you feel the pain and occasionally the joy. As a child you have lots of problems sorting that out. It took me years to sort that out and control my use of my gifts,

The world once again is threatened by darkness. Those of us that are gifted and sympathizer. Please send light, cast your spells, do your magic , pray.

Every culture, every religion has a mystic side. Some acknowledge it and accept it Some condemn it but no one denies its existence. I take that back science would have you believe it does not exist but the Gifted have existed throughout the history of humanity.

I was lucky born into a culture that accepts brujeria. I come from a long line of brujas and brujos from both parental lines.

But that did not make my childhood and youth easy. It took me many years to come to grips with my gift. But that’s a story for another time.
